There are thousands of Divyangjan who can learn various manufacturing skills. One of these people is Ravi Kumar.
Ravi Kumar is visually impaired and the fascinating thing is that he is a master of various skills that even a common person takes years of work to learn fully. Ravi knows how to cook, weave mats (chatai), chair seats, manufacture candles, etc.
When we met Ravi we realised there are thousands of Divyangjan you are highly creative and all what they need is a little bit of training and they would finesse in making a lot many small things.

Therefore we at Dharnika are trying to set up a training centre where all Divyangjan would learn to create small things like pickle, jam, spices making weaving, crafts wooden work and after that we will promote the sale of these products manufactured by the Divyangjan. So that they could earn their livelihood independently.

For this we have even started a three-day food processing training Under Mahatma Gandhi Gram Swarozgar Yojana, in which we were successful in training 60+ people in which 10 were Divyangjan.
