Startup in tier 2 and 3 cities

Startup in tier 2 and 3 cities

It is a very crucial decision to start a startup in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. If I tell my story to you, I don’t know what was a startup in 2018, In 2019 it first knows to me that startup is a company which tries to solve some real-life problem with new technology and solution. I had an idea from Wayback 2016 to make an ebook and audiobook website for students, I started working on this idea since then but not full time, whenever I was bored I started working on that. In 2019 my friend told me about an event and we took part in that event. In that event I got to know about startup then, I realized that whatever I was doing is called ‘startup’, then I quit everything for this startup. Now I know what my path is as a career. But I started in a tier 2 city where many people were not familiar with startups and no one was ready to invest in the startups. At that time I knew 20 startups that had no mentor to guide them and no investor to fund them.

This is every tier 2 city startup story. Check this out for more (According to Datalabs by Inc42, 96.54% of the total funding in Q1 2019 was raised by tier 1 startups with Bengaluru (70) and Delhi NCR (36) fetching the maximum number of deals. This needs to change.

Tier 2 and tier 3 startups have potential but they have to need a good education for business at every stage they need guidance. I know you have your own opinion on that but if someone with a roadmap and someone aiming in the dark both are completely different scenarios. The basic need of any startup is a roadmap.
